How would I go about finding good information about politics that are not biased?

What is a good source to read about politics that is not biased? (I know it’s not really possible, but if I got answeres to both sides I could read what both sides had to say.) I want to educate myself for the upcoming elections so that I’m not just some ignorant person throwing my vote away. I’ve been watching some of the debates on TV but I would like to learn more. Please help me be less ignorant, for our countries sake!

How productive is it to argue over politics, in your opinion?

Certainly, the Republicans building anger with stupid, simplistic, and exaggerated arguments works to their advantage if it gets enough people who wouldn’t have voted to vote for them or if it gets someone who wouldn’t have voted for them to vote for them. Of course, if the arguments are not accurate, that has the possibility of backfiring.

But, when there isn’t these type of emotions involved, how productive is it usually to argue over politics?

Who else thought it was ridiculous to bring up politics during the VMA Awards?

I am enjoying myself watching some stupid TV show and all of a sudden, hear “Vote for Obama” in mid sentence. I watch shows other than the news to get away from politics, then MTV decides to bring up politics.

It is purely ridiculous.

How do you feel about discussing politics to an unregistered voter?

During a discussion about the recent debates with an acquaintance, I learned that she was not a registered voter. This is someone in her mid 30’s and also did a few years in the military. I was a bit turned off with continuing the conversation. Do you think a person who is unregistered to vote has a valid opinion and a right to discuss politics? Her excuse for not registering is that she’s just not into politics. Valid or invalid excuse?
