Political Immaturity in the Philippines

Politics was made for the country to flourish well with the government facilitating the country. It is to make peace and order and not to make the first step putting the country in chaos. It is for the people who are born to be leaders and not those that are on the other field of study. This has to be taken action by the people because they make their own rules for their own country and not those that are in the position.

Politicians are the chosen ones to be in the position given authority by most people. They are given the power to facilitate the country. People choose them for they believe that the person whom they put in the position can make more changes. They believed on those people and relied upon their trust unto them.

But what happened to the Philippines ever since government was established? How come people who were running for the position would do a mortal sin like killing just to own that position? Why would they spend much just for their political campaign? What could there be in the government that they will spend much just to win in the elections?

These are the questions in my mind that is still a mystery to me. I thought being a government employee needs to be a good example and has a sense of helping hand. I always did thought they will only accept those people who has a pleasing personality for the position. What I have always thought about the government employees was all wrong. Instead, people who are desperate to have the position are buying their way to the position. The position needs not the votes of the people, it only needs money.

The political level in the Philippines is still the same as the one that was first established. It is like a mere child who needs to be spoon fed with all the moral issues. People are getting more and more greedy with the position that whenever an election is coming people die. There was not a chance that nobody will die before and after the election.

Money really is the root of all evils. They would kill even though they know it is a sin just to have that heavenly feeling of being rich, rich of blood money. They know much about the government that they know how to be rich in a second just by sitting in their chair. And as I have observed after a while of sitting in the position they will have that cozy life, the perfect life. Their sons are becomes boastful of their family name just because their dad is at the position.

What is there in the government that people are so desperate on being one? What is it that would make them kill? Why would there be a government if they are only made to make those in the position rich? Is the government really worth making it stay?
